If you've been trying to climb on the lucrative Internet bandwagon but can't seem to get a foothold, it's probably because your websites or products simply don't stand out from the crowd. It's hard to get out in front of the pack unless you know how to get leads and turn those leads into customers. Increasingly, website owners are turning to free information products to use as giveaways or to sell on their websites. What Are Free Information Products? Broadly defined, free information products are written works that are in the public domain. This means that they aren't copyrighted, and that you can use them as you wish. You can, for example, republish free information products on your websites, create free ebooks, or use the writing as a springboard to create semi-original content for your websites. Amazingly, there are a tremendous number of free information products, many of which you can easily buy in what are called public domain packages. For example, there may be a public domain self-help collection, a public domain recipe collection, as well as collections on topics ranging from Christianity to business to education. How Public Domain Packages Can Increase Your Cashflow As a business opportunity, owning and maintaining websites gives you both enormous flexibility and enormous responsibility. This is because, at the end of the day, websites are all about creating revenue. Public domain packages full of free information products can be used in a number of ways to increase your cashflow. For example, if you use Google AdSense to monetize your site, you're probably always looking for new content. After all, the more pages of content you have, the more ads you will have across your site, and the greater your revenue. Free information products can be used to create content that is either directly reprinted or that is tailored to the specific needs of your audience. Free information products can also be used as marketing tools. For example, you can use them to create semi-original articles that you can then distribute to article content hubs across the Internet. These articles will contain a biography with your URL, so that each article points back to your site. Likewise, if you have lead generation websites, you can use public domain packages to find articles or develop ebooks to give away in exchange for your website visitors' names and email addresses. If you're selling your own product, you can offer these free information products as a bonus to your customers. In other words, your offer can say something like, "Buy this widget today and receive a free report on twenty-five ways to make a great first impression!" These kinds of value added bonus products can cause sales to increase tremendously. There are dozens more uses for free information products. With the fierce competition for website visitors, it's important to use all the tools available to monetize your websites.
